Bonk Hard Racing's mission is to be "organizers of adventurous, outdoor pursuits". We are dedicated to organizing fun, safe and
challenging multisport events throughout the Midwest. From 2-3 hour sprint races to multi-day expeditions, our goal is to meet the
growing demand for adventure races and other off-road events. The sport of Adventure Racing is quickly becoming one of the most
popular sports in the world. Cross-over athletes from cycling, running, duathlons, triathlons and paddling enjoy the challenge of
multisport races where simply completing a race can be considered a victory. A lot of these athletes also enjoy the switch from
individual events to ones focused heavily on teamwork, and the opportunity to try new disciplines like orienteering and climbing.

Founders Jason and Laura Elsenraat are avid adventure racers and multisport athletes themselves. After years of
triathlons, duathlons, marathons, mountain bike races, paddling and orienteering, they discovered adventure racing and fell in
love with the sport instantly. Now they still continue to race while planning events of their own and turning people on
to the sport of adventure racing. Jason's love of the outdoors and racing led him to leave his corporate job to become
a full-time race director and event planner.
